A Synergetic Relationship: The Exchange between Open Access, Copyright, and Author’s Rights In-Person
What are the different types of Open Access? Do you lose your rights as an author making something freely available? And how does this tie in with copyright? This general session will discuss the basics of open access, what different publications offer, and things to consider when publishing. Library-subscribed resources will be used to demonstrate the relationship between open access, copyright, and author’s rights and how they interweave.
